Escrow/Bookkeeping Analyst

 

Position responsibilities:

?  Escrow responsibilities include the payment of Real Estate taxes for counties and villages in NYS, payment and satisfaction of judgments, liens

?  The disbursement of escrow funds for other purposes as agreed upon by the title company and depositor

?  Underwriting Audit compliance for escrow accounting

?  The maintenance of all escrow journals and trial balance ledgers for various title underwriters

? Abandon property disclosures, maintenance and distribution of escrow funds.

?  Bookkeeping duties include maintaining escrow ledgers and journals for all escrow accounts. Trial balance accounts for each underwriter; underwriter auditing compliance; bank reconciliation of all escrow accounts for several entities.

 

Requirements:

?  0-2 years experience preferred

?  Title Experience preferred

?  Light bookkeeping responsibilities a must

?  Successful candidate must have strong communication skills both written and verbal and be able to follow instructions, understand title insurance and trial balance statement and perform basic math skills as required

?  Candidate must be well organized and handle multiple tasks
