As an Account Manager/Loan Officer you will be accountable for originating loans within designated builder communities and managing a pipeline through underwriting, processing, closing and post-closing. A key function of the Account Manager/Loan Officer is to generate and maintain communication between the builder and the mortgage company; always remembering the builder is "our number one customer". Other important functions include maintaining a satisfactory closing/backlog capture ratio and expected customer satisfaction levels based on Company standards. Other key functions include advising and educating prospective borrowers and existing borrowers regarding programs, rates and documentation requirements, performing pre-qualifications for prospective customers on an as needed basis and submitting complete mortgage applications by conducting a thorough telephone interview with the customer.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate must meet the following criteria:
? Possess an associates degree or equivalent from a two year college or technical school
? Two years of Mortgage Origination experience
? Homebuilder experience a plus
? Be detail-oriented with excellent communication and organizational skills
? Have exceptional follow up and customer service skills
? Be able to prioritize and handle multiple tasks
? Have knowledge of general accounting principles and familiarity with real estate and mortgage terminology
? Bilingual a plus
