We are currently seeking an Assistant Facility Manager to join our Accounts Management Group located in Boston.

ASSISTANT FACILITY MANAGER - Boston, MA


Responsibilities:
Oversee the development and manage the detailed, zero-based annual operating budgets for client project
Develop monthly/quarterly variance reporting on operating budgets for property on a timely basis
Assist with the development and implement the annual management plan for the building
Help to develop and approve the annual capital plan for each building, interfacing closely with the client representative
Develop and implement innovative programs, processes and producers that reduce short and long term operating costs and increase productivity. Work closely with the Facilities Manager, Manager-Operations and the client
Coordinate discussions with each vendor or supplier regarding goal setting, performance criteria, and performance review
Perform maintenance cleaning walk-thru's on a timely basis
Maintain work order system to ensure proper closure and redirection of work orders
Maximize utilization of suppliers, preferred vendors/contractors and the level of spending with Minority/Women owned Business Enterprises (M/WBE)
Insure compliance with Jones Lang LaSalle minimum audit standards


Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in Facilities Management with management/technical emphasis
Minimum of 3 to 5 years industry experience required either in the corporate environment, third party service provider or as a consultant
Strong financial administration, contract/vendor supervision and administration skills
Some knowledge of real estate, telecommunications, furniture, accounting and building systems helpful
Strong organization skills
Excellent written and verbal communications skills
Computer proficiency
