Facility Operations Specialist, Entry

Key Role: Augment the facility management support section of Department of Homeland Security (DHS) clients by performing project management and facility operations support duties, including facility build-out, post-occupancy support, and support for preventative maintenance operations. Provide support for the development and maintenance of data tracking systems to manage facility operations. Provide direct interface and frequent communications with government points of contact and maintain responsibility for advising the designated points of contact of the status of the work.



Functional/Industry Knowledge:

-3-5 years of experience with relevant work providing facilities and infrastructure management support, including facility operations support, to government clients

-Knowledge of DHS facilities in the National Capital Region preferred

-Knowledge of word processing and database management, including Microsoft Excel, Access, and Project preferred

Education/Certifications or equivalent required:

BA or BS degree in a related field required

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Top Secret clearance is required.
