Finanical Analyst- Investments

The Financial Analyst will perform analysis pertaining to portfolio management, cost of credit, acquisitions, financings, recapitalizations and other special projects when needed.

PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESAnalysis/ReportingPlays integral role in managing cost of credit including: Reporting cost of credit to Senior Management and Investors Tracking and forecasting debt covenants Performing analysis and sensitivities on interest rate hedging and refinancing opportunitiesResponsible for quarterly reporting to lenders and capital sources Prepares analysis and presentation materials in conjunction with meetings with investors and lenders. Conducts underwriting analysis related to new acquisitions, development opportunities and value-added projects including: Operating projections and sensitivities Analytical due diligence investigation Financing and capital projections and sensitivities IRR, NPV, cash on equity, and return on cost projections Preparation of closing statementsResearches and analyzes variances between actual results, budgets, forecasts and underwriting Multi-year forecasting and consolidation analysis Builds financial models and improves upon existing models Monitors proposed acquisition performance in comparison to the underwriting through to closing Converts underwritten proformas to operating budgets

 

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/LICENSURE- CERTIFICATICATION

 MBA in finance, accounting, or business ? desirable BS or BA degree from accredited college or university with strong quantitative coursework Minimum 2 years experience as Real Estate financial analyst - required

 Demonstrates attention to detail Demonstrates excellent oral and written communication skills Ability to present analytical findings and interpretations in a clear and thoughtful manner. Ability to draw conclusions and make recommendations regarding financial analysis. Demonstrates strong computer literacy in Microsoft suite (Excel, Word, Project, PowerPoint, etc.) Demonstrates experience developing and running sophisticated complex Excel spreadsheet models. Ability to multitask and complete projects in a timely manner Demonstrates ability to work as a team player
