Position Description:

The Foreclosure Specialist III is responsible processing active foreclosures, assisting in the monitoring the performance of vendors, ensuring assigned tasks are completed and that foreclosure processes stay within investor guidelines in regards to timeframes and fees and costs. There are basic supervisory duties assigned to this position.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

? Assist with managerial duties to include training new hires, time cards, performance review feedback in regards to Specialist positions
? Handle high profile and litigated foreclosure portfolio
? Provide feedback to Foreclosure Specialist I and II
? Review and sign off on bid pass analysis, bidding instructions per levels of authority
? Assist management with completion of exception reporting and provide weekly review of performance
? Provide mentoring to staff members and feedback to management on staff performance
? Ability to handle escalated matters in regards to litigation, loss mitigation and bankruptcy


SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: This job has basic supervisory responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each task assigned to a Foreclosure Specialist II and each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Five to Seven years job related experience in a loan-servicing environment. Residential Mortgage Banking experience required, as is exposure to Bankruptcy and Loss Mitigation. Computer proficiency essential.

LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and interpret mortgage documents, reports, valuation forms and attorney correspondence as well as Company and departmental policies and procedures. Strong ability to communicate effectively to customers, vendors and employees of the Company.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Strong mathematical skills.

REASONING ABILITY: Strong ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral form. Ability to problem solve under a variety of situations and circumstances.
