Investment Banking Portfolio Strategist VP–Real Estate Market Analytics
Our client, a Global Investment Management firm with offices in Northern New Jersey, seeks an Officer level Portfolio Strategist with 3 + years? Real Estate Investment Banking experience. The ideal candidate will possess strong financial modeling software skills, market forecasting skills, and proven expertise in formulating sound investment strategies. The firm is offering an excellent compensation package which is commensurate with experience.
Major Responsibilities:
? Perform market research financial analysis, and evaluate real estate and capital market fundamentals ? communicating with colleagues and departmental managers to maintain sound investment strategies
? Develop econometric and financial models to forecast real estate and capital markets data and fluctuations, and their impact on the real estate portfolio
? Follow and report on economic and demographic trends
? Perform geographic and statistical analyses ? and their impact on portfolio strategies
Qualifications:
? 3 + years? experience in Real Estate Investment Banking at a major financial services firm
? Advanced degree with a focus on real estate, economics, geography or related coursework a must
? Strong analytical and deductive reasoning skills
? Strong computer skills - experience with statistical software a must
? Knowledge of SQL, Visual Basic, EViews, S-Plus or ArcView skills a plus
? Excellent written and oral communication skills
