Lease Administrator (Temporary position)

This is a temporary assignment (6-8 weeks). Individual will be responsible for maintaining commercial lease database in Yardi system. Duties include:  

Lease Administration:1.  Tenant Insurance

?  Gather all missing tenant insurance certificates/file in tenant files

?  Monitor insurance expirations/request current insurance certificates for tenants w/ expired insurance certificates

?  Prepare monthly delinquency notices

?  Aid in move out process

?  Aid in move in process

 

2.  Tenant Charges

?  Post monthly recurring charges after Asset Mgmt review/approval of charges

?  Enter lease charges for all new and amended leases

?  Print coupon books for all new and amended leases

?  Assist asset management with tenant ledger research

?  Post monthly late charges per asset management



 

3. Lease Files/Yardi input

?  Assemble lease files for new tenants

?  File all correspondence to tenants (after verifying any charges have been added to ledgers)

?  Scan lease agreements / amendments into company directory

?  Process move-in checklist / move-out checklist

?  Send welcome package/coupon books to new tenants

?  Input lease information into Yardi for new and amended leases

?  Send new coupon books to all amended tenants





 

4. Additional administrative assistance

?  Monthly financial reports ? organize, assemble, copy

?  Tenant expense reimbursement lettes

?  Assist with minor GL research for asset managers



 SKILL AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

?  Commercial Real Estate Experience is required (must have experience in reading/abstracting commercial leases and tenant billing)

?  Knowledge of Yardi is a plus, but will train.

?  Must be proficient in Word and Excel.

?  Must possess excellent written and oral communication skills

WORK SCHEDULE:

? Monday ? Friday (8:30 am ? 5:30 pm) Hourly rate
