Licensed Loan Officer/Originator

A growing mortgage company offering excellent compensation package and business causal environment.  This is an excellent opportunity for a team player w/strong communication and people skills.  You will be responsible for entire loan process, from locking the loans through closing the loans. 

 

Responsibilities:Originates acceptable and well-documented residential mortgages through contacts w/realtors, brokers, builders, and developers.  Develop solid product knowledge; offer clients the best mortgage products that fit their needs. Maintains consistent and thorough communication w/all involved parties (applicant, referral sources, processor, appraisal, etc.) throughout the loan process. Work w/clients and internal support staff to ensure the timely completion of each loan.

 

Requirements:Prior sales experience in the mortgage industry Familiarity w/mortgage rules, regulations, and procedures Superior customer service skills; strong attention to detail Excellent written and verbal communication skills Thorough knowledge of lending regulations, conventional loans requirements, and general finance Ability to read and evaluate credit reports as well as familiarity w/mortgage products
