Loan Operations

 

 

Loan To Learn, a rapidly growing Sterling, VA based organization that pioneered the credit based education loan industry, is actively recruiting for Loan Closers for its newest initiative in the Student Loan market. Reporting to the Loan Operations Manager the incumbent will have hands on knowledge of front and back end loan servicing functions (Origination, Processing, Disbursements).

 

Ideally, the successful incumbent?s background will include a Bachelors degree with 2-4 years experience as a Loan Closer.  The ability to communicate effectively both verbal and written is a must.  Also should have multi-tasking abilities, strong customer service skills, exceptional follow-through skills, and be extremely detail oriented.  Must have the ability to organize and prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. 

 

Responsibilities of the position will include:

? Reviews loan applications to determine status and need for additional documents; contact customers to explain the application status and arrange for prompt delivery of outstanding documents required to complete the loan application process. 

? Place calls to customers whose application require authentication screening and effectively conduct and complete this requirement.

? Answer questions pertaining to the loan products, application, processing requirements and expectations.

? Accurately status applications and move to applicable queue in order to facilitate processing and ultimately funding of loan.

? Submit loan files for funding.

? Note disposition of all required documents in application processing system.
