Position Description:

Loan Processor: Retail Non-Prime

At Home123, a subsidiary of one of the largest publicly traded finance companies, New Century Financial Corporation (NYSE: NEW), we have a direct relationship with our customers. As a national direct lender, we make our own credit decisions, loan our own money and take the confusion out of the loan process by ?cutting through the loan clutter.?

We have an immediate Loan Processor position available and currently seeking an assertive, results driven and enthusiastic candidate for our branch in Long Beach, CA.

Qualified candidate should have previous processing experience (2-3 years minimum) in a fast-paced mortgage branch environment, with stellar inter-personal skills and the ability to interface with 12-15 in-house Loan Advisors and support staff. Responsibilities will also include:

PRIMARY DUTIES
?Order, print, mail and place copies of RESPA disclosures in loan file
?Review loan file and determine items needed to submit file to Underwriter
?Order and review Verifications of Mortgage, Employment, and Deposits as needed
?Request borrower insurance information and verification
?Order flood certificates, title policies, and appraisals as directed by Branch Manager
?Note and adjust Debt and Disbursement form to reflect insurance premiums
?Complete Fast Track/full documentation forms as needed
?Prepare loan file for submission to Underwriting
?Retrieve loan approvals from Retail Coordinator
?Clear and fax to Retail Coordinator all ?prior to doc? conditions
?Review document proof sheets and fax back to Retail Coordinator
?Clear and fax all loan approval conditions to Retail Coordinator after Branch Manager has verified conditions have been cleared
?Review loan documents and process corrections as needed
?Prepare loan documents for signing and copy package for customer
?Fax Debts and Disbursements form to Title Company to receive HUD 1 and escrow instructions
?Retrieve signed loan documents from Loan Officer or Title Company and prepare a copy package for the Branch
?Clear funding conditions and follow up for any trailing documents
?Obtain recording confirmation from Title Company
?Stack branch file, audit for completion, copy file, and send to Shipping Department
?Insuring excellent customer service with both internal and external customer

Additional duties may include:
?General office duties, including filing and answering telephone
?Updating Operations Manuals
?Record retention and file housekeeping
?Other duties as assigned by Branch Manager
