Loan Processor - Mortgage

Equity One, the Retail Mortgage Division of Popular Financial Holdings, is comprised of a network of branch offices offering mortgage and financial loan products directly to consumers through centralized telemarketing, direct mail and Loan Officer generated leads.

 

We are currently seeking a talented individual to fulfill the position of Loan Processor in Parsippany, NJ. The Loan Processor serves as the facilitator in collecting, reviewing, and approving required documentation supplied to meet underwriting pre-approval conditions. This position also serves as the primary point of contact for Loan Officer, Realtor or Customer during mortgage processing phase to ensure deadlines, customer services and quality standards are met.  The Loan Processor must also clearly communicate with all parties involved in transaction to ensure deadlines are met and quality customer service is provided, including loan officers, realtors, underwriters, closers and managers.  In addition, a Loan Processor may assist in the opening and closing of loans as needed.  Qualified applicants should have good PC and communication skills, excellent customer service and time management skills, and be knowledgeable of certain automated underwriting systems.  Associates degree or completed college work is preferred; 2 ? 4 years of experience processing FHA, VA and conventional loan applications or equivalent work experience is necessary.
