Loan Specialist
In this role, you will ensure loans are processed in accordance with established guidelines and with Truth and Lending rules and regulations. Involves the drawing of closing documents, review of executed documents and coordinating the disbursement of funds. Will also be required to ship loan files and cures file deficiencies. Specific duties include verifying the loan request with the Account Executive and Branch Manager as well as ordering appraisal, title, flood certificate, appraisal review, closing agent/escrow services and evidence of hazard insurance.
Requires 3+ years experience working in a mortgage lending and or finance environment to include pre-qualifying reviewing and analyzing loan documents. High school diploma; associate of arts degree and/or course work in mortgage lending/finance preferred. Excellent customer service skills are essential. Must have good PC, mathematical/10 key/calculator skills. Requires a detail-oriented individual with strong verbal communication skills. Must be able to perform in a fast-paced environment where accuracy and timeliness is of the essence and to interact effectively with customers.
