Loan Specialist, Sr.
Ensure loans are processed in accordance with established guidelines and with Truth and Lending rules and regulations. Coordinate drawing of closing documents. Review executed documents and coordinates the disbursement of funds. Ship loan files and cures file deficiencies. Assist in the training and supervision of new Loan Specialists.

Responsibilities:
Maintain current processing log and report daily loan status to Processing Manager / Branch Manager.
Verify pricing, loan program and required borrower documentation with A/E.
Communicate processing delays, pricing disputes and program violations to Processing Manager / Branch Manager.
Follow-up with borrowers and vendors to obtain required documentation.
Interface with Underwriting to resolve file discrepancies and provide required documentation.
Generate, review and send closing documents to closing agent.
Review signed documents for accuracy, balance wire and disburse funds to closing agent.
Resolve post-closing issues within 5 days of notification.
Assist in the training of new Loan Specialist and report progress/concerns to Processing Manager/Branch Manager.
Perform all duties in accordance with company standards.

Requirements:
High school diploma; associate of arts degree and/or course work in mortgage lending/finance preferred.
Excellent customer service skills.
Good PC and mathematical/10 key/calculator skills.
Detail oriented, good oral communication skills.
5+ years experience working in a mortgage lending and or finance environment to include pre-qualifying reviewing and analyzing loan documents.
Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment where accuracy and timeliness is of the essence and to interact effectively with customers.
