Job Purpose Statement:The Loss Mitigation Loan Administrator assists the Loss Mitigation Department in reducing delinquencies of the entire Saxon portfolio. This position prepares legal documents and letters; processes and enters changes from approved workout options; and monitors selected workout processes for adherence to established timelines.  The successful candidate will be responsible for the following: 

? Prepare, or monitor the preparation, the mailing of documents necessary for the implementation of each approved workout option file

? Follow up with borrowers or other entities for timely return of documents and reports

? Order all title searches as requested by Loss Mitigation Workout Specialist (LMWS)

? Coordinate with attorney the preparation of Deeds in Lieu documents and monitor timely delivery to borrower(s)

? Maintain Loss Mitigation Workout spreadsheet while identifying and follow-up on any past due workouts

? Enter all required  data in  the system of record

? Record, or monitor the recording of, all necessary documents

? Ensure that each workout file presented for implementation and booking have the necessary approvals as indicated on the approval matrix and that the approval has not expired

? Complete assigned CIT?s

? Assist LMWS with administrative duties

? Post all workout payments

? Any other duties assigned by management

 

The qualified candidate will meet or exceed the following requirements:

 

? High school diploma or equivalent

? One plus years mortgage experience required, preferably in a default environment

? Two plus years of mortgage banking documents preferred

? Must be proficient with MS Office

? Must be able to type 40 wpm

? Effective communication, organizational and time management skills

? Detail oriented
