The Staubach Company requires an experienced Market Research Associate for its Washington Metropolitan area, responsible for market analysis, generation of market performance statistics and reports, data collection and retrieval.  The mission of the Market Research Associate is to support the business platform and Marketing & Research Department by working closely with the brokers to address their research needs and formulate appropriate solutions.

 

? Produce the Washington, DC quarterly market report, preparing in-depth analysis incorporating supply and demand analysis, leasing trends, employment and economic data, and market projections.

? Update existing and create new submarket reports on the Washington, DC market.

? Assist in maintaining and updating market statistics on the Washington metropolitan region.

? Monitor construction projects, updating spreadsheets as needed.

? Provide market scoop, lease comps and sale comps to brokers, as required.

? Communicate with brokers regarding specific requests for information.

? Communicate with and utilize corporate research capabilities for retrieving data.

? Promote research capabilities to brokers and clients.

? Attend biweekly broker roundtables to gather lease comps and market scoop.

? Attend real estate events on current and projected market indicators and trends, including monthly Commercial Market Research Council (CMRC) meetings.

? Data Interpretation, Presentation and Marketing ? Responsible for the aggregation, analysis, interpretation, and reporting of market research data.  Develop client-oriented interpretations and graphics of market trends.

? Research Resources ? Understands research-related data sources, recommends new sources and evaluates existing products.

? Perform other related duties as required.
