Responsibilities:
- Supervises 4-6 Account Executives.
- Helps develop business relationships by advising prospective borrowers on the best home loan products for their needs.
- Manages the team's pipeline.
- Makes recommendations regarding the team's role in advising borrowers.
- Reviews and signs off on conditions prior to funding.
- Manages lead tracking.
- Ensures that every loan has been properly risk graded.
- Addresses quality issues.
- Handles pricing exception reviews.
- Assists with negotiations.
- Hires, develops and trains staff members.
- Monitors and improves departmental processes.
Requirements:
- A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3 years of experience in loan origination in consumer markets or retail lending.
- 1 year of supervisory experience.
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
- PC proficiency in software such as Lotus Notes, Excel, Access AS 400, etc.
