Manager, Production Branch

Responsibilities:
- Achieves the sales, profitability and day-to-day production and profitability goals for the Branch.
- Develops and maintains ongoing relationships with Realtors, builders and other key constituent groups.
- Markets Countrywide products and services in a local geographic area, serving as a primary contact.
- Recruits, manages and develops sales personnel and serves as a resource for complex issues.
- Supervises the work of the EHLCs and Sales Assistants.
- Develops and implements a Branch Business Development Plan.
- Ensures compliance with regulatory agency and company guidelines.
- Offers coaching to branch personnel on calls and inbound/outbound origination activities.
- Works with ROCs and ROMs on the processing and underwriting of branch loans as necessary.

Requirements:
- A Bachelor?s degree or equivalent.
- 5+ years of experience working in a mortgage lending environment, including sales and marketing, pre-qualifying, reviewing/analyzing loan origination documents and supervising staff.
- Broad knowledge of the mortgage industry and mortgage lending practices.
- General knowledge of underwriting and other quality standards.
- An understanding of municipal, state and federal laws, such as TILA, ECOA, etc.
- Knowledge of the fundamentals of relationship selling, staff training and development, and business plan development and tactical implementation.
- Knowledge of computer software.
- The ability to manage under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
