We currently have Mortgage Loan Officer positions available in our Phoenix, AZ location.

This position is responsible for producing and maintaining monthly loan production goals.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


 Maximize mortgage sales by expertly explaining SHM products and programs to customers responding to direct solicitation campaigns Perform loan pre-qualifications by analyzing applicant data against SHM product and program guidelinesPresent customers with loan disclosure packagesAssist processors, closers, underwriters and telemarketers in facilitating funding of applications as part of the customer sales teamPromote and build total customer satisfaction by representing Saxon Home Mortgage products in a positive and persuasive mannerREQUIREMENTS

QUALIFICATIONS:


?  High school diploma or equivalent

 

Experience Requirements:

?  One-year retail mortgage loan origination experience preferred.

?  Sales or collections background a plus

 

Skills/Knowledge Requirements:Working knowledge of Windows-based computer applications: experience with electronic origination system a plusThorough knowledge of residential mortgage origination process and federal and multi-state specific disclosure laws, including RESPA, Reg Z, ECOA and fair housing issuesThorough understanding of retail mortgage products including both first and second mortgages, HELOCs, fixed and ARM loansThorough understanding of retail mortgage pricing scenariosAbility to analyze and work with key mortgage underwriting ratios including debt-to-income ratios and loan-to-value ratios
