Mortgage Loan Processor & Loans Officer

Looking for young motivated and energize person that willing to work with a growing mortgage company. Bilingual in Spanish or Chinese preferred. Must have good character and some sales experience. Must have at least 2 year experience in loans processor and Loans officer. Good Benefit with Bonus and commission.

 

 

 

 

Job Purpose:

Provides consumer loans by attracting clients; explaining and selling

financial products; verifying loan application information; processing loans; adhering to legal requirements and institution policy.



Duties:

* Attracts consumer loan clients by conducting telemarketing and other sales campaigns; greeting walk-ins; identifying potential client's credit needs.



* Explains consumer loan products by reviewing loan plans, provisions, requirements, and alternatives; answering questions.



* Obtains consumer loan application by scheduling client interviews; interviewing clients; reviewing loan applications; clarifying or obtaining additional information.



* Verifies loan application information by ordering credit, employment, and earnings reports; mailing verification forms; contacting verification sources.



* Identifies loan application and documentation problems by reviewing loan guidelines; calculating risks, such as, debt to income ratios and loan to value ratios; highlighting deficiencies; conferring with consumer loan underwriters; accepting or rejecting loan applications.



* Completes loans by scheduling and conducting loan closings.



* Keeps loan information accessible by organizing and filing documents.



* Maintains client confidence by keeping loan information confidential; adhering to federal and state legal requirements, and institution policies and internal control procedures.



* Cross-sells financial products by examining client's financial situation; identifying and matching potential products and services; explaining and selling benefits.



* Processes loan defaults by conferring with clients; working out payment plans; initiating repossessions and forfeitures.



* Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; maintaining personal networks.



* Accomplishes bank goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
