Mortgage Originator

A Mortgage Originator originates and develops residential mortgage loans and participates in related business development activities. Solicits residential mortgages by developing relationships with realtors, builders, and developers in order to increase the fee income for the bank. Provides service and guidance to clients and prospective clients by evaluating mortgage lending parameters and seeking various ways to assist them in achieving their goals

Requirements: Minimum of 2 years mortgage loan origination experience. Successful track record of sales and business development. Must be well versed in State and Federal mortgage loan regulatory requirements and compliance. Must have client relations skills for the development of client base. College degree or equivalent work experience in the field of finance. Proficient PC skills are required.
