Louisiana Mortgage Associates is a full service Mortgage Broker offering conforming, subprime, VA, RD, and FHA loans statewide with locations in Lake Charles and Sulphur. We will soon be opening another location in Lafayette and we are in the process of obtaining our licenses in Texas and Florida. The majority of our business is derived from our aggressive advertising and 2 websites.  Therefore, most leads will be provided, but most highly successful loan officers receive a portion of their leads from referrals, repeat business, realtors, and friends. 

 

Louisiana Mortgage Associates is seeking an individual that must possess excellent communications skills, must be innovative, and must be capable of developing marketing strategies that will help the entire ?team?.  In addition to these qualifications, we are looking for someone who is aggressive, knows the meaning of hard work, and is well organized and definitely a team player. The majority of our sales are conducted by telephone and face-to-face from our Lake Charles and Sulphur offices, but some outside sales calls will be expected after your initial training. Previous mortgage and/or sales experience is preferred, but not essential. Training will be provided for the individual that is selected for this position.

 

We have two pay plans available for the individual that is selected for this position. The first plan is comprised of a base salary, sales commissions and an annual bonus. The second pay plan is for the individual who knows they can get the job done on a commission only basis and wants to create substantial earnings in a very short period of time. Your first year?s earnings should range between $40,000 and $100,000, and 2nd year should be $50,000 to $150,000. Needless to say, those individuals who are willing to put forth a concerted effort should accomplish more. We operate in a very casual and fun atmosphere, and our typical work week is Monday - Friday (8-5/6).  You will also be required to work 10 - 3 on Saturday, but ONLY once a month. If you are currently in sales, you already know that it is sometimes necessary to work a little longer, and sometimes work a little harder to ensure an adequate amount of sales for a given period of time. We expect no less of our sales team.
