Mortgage Rate Lock Coordinator Needed for a large and reputable Direct Alt A and Sub Prime Mortgage Lender in Sunrise, Florida.

Skyytek Recruitment has been retained by a large and reputable Direct Alt A and Sub Prime Mortgage Lender to search for a Mortgage Rate Lock Coordinator for there Corporate Head Offices located in Sunrise, Florida. This company has over 2000 employees nationwide, and due to an extremely competitive product effering coupled with infrastructure and state of the art of technology, is in heavy growth mode. This is a very rare opportunity, as this is probably one of the only Direct Mortgage Lenders within todays mqarketplace, that is looking to double its Operations over the next 12 months, with expansion in South Florida along with a brand new Operational Center in California. This position carries a more than generous Base Salary Plus Monthly Production Bonuses.

The succesful Mortgage Rate Lock Coordinator will be responsible for the following:

Ensure that each loan is accurately registered and locked-in according to the guidelines, policies and procedures. Process all rate lock exceptions and obtain guarantee from Capital Markets.



Track all Registrations and rate locks to ensure the accuracy of the daily construction pipeline report and to ensure that rate locks do not expire. Work directly with the Brokers and Accounts Executives to verify the integrity of all pricing data input into the database. Research and distribute daily forecast of current mortgage rate market.



? Guarantee that all loans submitted are registered and locked in daily

? Audit each Pricing Adjustment / Rate Lock Form for accuracy and appropriate program and / or pricing requirements. Contact Brokers and Account Executives as necessary to resolve discrepancies and suggest alternate programs or pricing

? Train and assist Brokers on how to accurately and completely fill out a Pricing Adjustment / Rate Lock Form

? Ensure that each loan is registered to the correct pricing and program

? Ensure that pricing and program information in the database exactly matches the information registered into Quick Quote

? Secure pricing from Capital Markets daily

? Ensure all pricing extensions and exceptions are secured in the system daily

? Monitor system for rate lock expirations

? Keep up to date on all new loan programs and pricing options

? Contact Capital Markets for all exceptions, enhancements, extensions, etc

? Contact the necessary department for additional information as necessary

? Send daily forecast sheet to all appropriate parties

? Perform various additional tasks as assigned which may not be specifically listed in this position description

Requirements:





? A College Degree is preferred. Courses in real estate or other related fields would be helpful, but are not necessary

? Prior mortgage processing is beneficial, but not necessary. Typing skills of 30-40 wpm, as well as computer familiarity, is essential

? Knowledge of Excel & Word

? Knowledge of Corporate pricing and rate lock procedures

? Ability to work under the stress of maintaining proper liaison relationship between managers, employees and all internal and exterior customers

? Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing

? Ability to exchange information clearly and concisely and to present ideas, report facts and other information

? Ability to comprehend consequences of various situations and make appropriate individual(s) aware of the same for decision making

? Ability to manage own work flow and resolve questions and problems with supervisor

? Ability to meet attendance standards and work overtime hours as required

? Basic math and analytical skills

? Strong data entry skills
