We are currently looking for experienced Loan Officers to work on our Portfolio Defense Team as Mortgage Retention Specialists today!!!!. This focus of this position is to increase the recapture rate of AHM?s servicing customers by converting sales leads generated from intercepted payoff requests; VOM and escrow inquiry calls; and various marketing campaigns. Proactively contact customers where a written payoff request has been received from either the customer or a third party all with the goal of preserving the account servicing relationship at the lowest cost to both the customer and to AHM.

?Where the customer?s existing note does not qualify for a modification, determine the next best option (i.e., streamlined refinance / purchase, originate a traditional refinance / purchase with a mortgage application, etc.)
?Cross-sell optional / fee-based products to the existing servicing customer base upon referral from a Customer Care specialist.
?Other similar duties as directed by management to improve overall retention / recapture rate by AHM.

MAGNITUDE OF RESPONSIBILITY:
Handle approx. 5 ? 10 Inbound sales leads per day.
Outbound sales calls during periods of low volume.

Position starts ASAP!   REQUIREMENTS High School Diploma; college degree preferred

Minimum of 2 years experience in a mortgage sales role required; 3 years preferred. Must possess standard mortgage math, product, and underwriting knowledge.

Experience in a sales call center environment; mortgage customer service experience helpful.

Minimum of 5 years total work experience

Ability to accommodate scheduling based on anticipated volume; several positions require evening / night hours.

Must be computer literate and have working knowledge of Windows-based systems

Empathetic approach; excellent telephone communications skills; demonstrated ability to overcome customer objections
