Lancaster Pollard?s mortgage banking arm, Lancaster Pollard Mortgage Company, is an approved FHA/GNMA/USDA lender, specializing in commercial mortgages.  An integral part of the mortgage company is the servicing department.

 

The mortgage servicing specialist position offers tremendous opportunities as part of a growing team serving a highly specialized sector with rapidly increasing demand. The mortgage servicing specialist will service loans in the portfolio insured by the U.S. Department of Agriculture ? Rural Development. Primary duties will include monitoring projects? construction progress and facilitating conversions to permanent loans through work with the USDA office, borrower and investor. After conversion, responsibilities will include monitoring rent rolls, tenant certifications and collection of monthly mortgage payments. This position will become familiar with the USDA regulation handbook and will be responsible for compliance and reporting. This is a small, but growing department with extensive cross training, additional responsibilities in other areas in mortgage servicing and a steep commercial mortgage servicing learning curve.

 

The ideal candidate would possess the following core characteristics:

?  Lending or title insurance background

?  Construction loan administration experience preferred

?  Outstanding multi-tasking, prioritization and organizational skills

?  Attention to detail, sense or urgency, and ability to meet deadlines

?  Strives for 100% accuracy and compliance with regulations

?  General math skills and demonstrated ability to think logically

?  Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, & Outlook)

?  Highest degree of integrity

?  Ability to adapt in a growing/changing environment
