Unique Mortgage Solutions is a licensed Mortgage Banking Company that is headquartered in Paramus, NJ. We offer retail, wholesale, commercial and corporate relocation mortgage financing.
Unique seeks a goal-oriented leader for our underwriting manager position in the wholesale department.
Underwrite residential loans for A, ALT A and FHA programs. Review and evaluate loan documents for loan programs, underwriting guidelines, compliance, investor and company standards. Stay abreast of FNMA/FHLMC and FHA regulation changes.
Manage and lead a group of underwriting supervisors; provide credit decisions and recommendations for complex cases. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish company goals.Ability to make prudent underwriting and credit decisionsDE certified preferredStrong oral and written communication skillsGreat customer service skillsAbility to manually underwrite when neededMust be capable of leading a team
