PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

?  Perform quality control with 100% accuracy.

?  Learn all company guidelines.

?  Work with other members of the wholesale department.

?  Underwrite a company specified number of files per day.

?  Review applications for completeness and determine for additional information needed.

?  Make final determination to accept standard rate or decline coverage within the framework of predetermined underwriting standards.

?  Completes all underwriting worksheets and calculations and reviews date integrity sheets to determine risk and benefit of funding loan present risk issues to Management.

?  Participate in the streamlining of the underwriting process

?  Verify and validate income, assets and liability documentation to support underwriting decision.  Calculate and verify income structure (employment verification, tax returns, divorce decree, alimony, etc), verify funds to close (verification of deposits, gift funds, IRA, 401K, sale of assets, etc).

?  Reviews conditions submitted on loans from Account Managers and signs off on conditions outside their authority.


QUALIFICATIONS: Sub-prime wholesale mortgage experience preferred but not required. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Basic computer shills required. Highly motivated, outgoing, and team oriented.
