National Operations Manager- Wholesale

Senior/National Operations Manager

 

Major Objectives: 

1.  Recommend and implement improvements to current workflow that will foster the efficient origination of high quality non-prime mortgages.


2.  Develop accountability in the origination process and assist in the development of reporting tools to track that accountability. 


3.  Assist in reformulating production support staff comp plans and disciplinary process based on performance and accountability standards.


4.  Assist in developing a pre-funding audit and quality control process that is integrated efficiently and effectively into the origination workflow.


5.  Insure that workflow and processes are identical in both/all production centers and develop review process to insure ongoing compliance with established policies and procedures.


6.  Work with sales leadership to develop a culture of mutual respect and understanding between sales and operations.


7.  Responsible for day to day operations at this time.

 

Qualifications:
Min. 2 years experience as a senior operations manager in a wholesale shop, with responsibility for production in excess of $2-3 billion annually.


Min. 5 years experience in mortgage origination management position


Great communication skills, both written and oral


Great computer skills-Word, Excel, etc.


Strong knowledge of reporting requirements and tools


Strong technical skills in loan origination jobs (underwriting, funding, qc, etc.)


Ability to identify, train and mentor future leaders


Member of Strategic Initiatives Team and Management Team, in addition to appropriate task forces.
