New Store Development Coordinator

We have an immediate need for a New Store Development Coordinator to join our growing team. We are looking for a dependable, detail-oriented individual to take ownership of this important role. 

 

PURPOSE

Support, coordinate and monitor the collaborative efforts of the assigned business units via systems and procedures that are designed to expeditiously complete Real Estate and Construction Development projects.

 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

 Investigate technical solutions and develop project timelines for the coordination of key project schedules; process the execution of the New Store Development Plan.Primary administrator of the Web-based Project Management Development System; whose responsibilities include to ensure accurate, efficient and timely functionality of the system and the Project Management Team assigned to specific projects; facilitate successful transition to the system; provide on-going training to various users; ensure full compliance by all users within the established guidelines; and to set up and delete users as necessary to ensure appropriate system security.  Act as liaison between the provider of the Web-based system and VICORP; responsible for all communication and timely maintenance of the system as well as oversight of modifications and improvements to the system.  Oversee the assemblage of site data and site files through the beginning stages of development to the final approval packages; ensure that all sites are organized, maintained, updated, validated for completeness and archived; prepare the appropriate information necessary for Board approval.  Collect and input planning data; participate in, and support the Development planning process. Act as liaison between the providers of geographic intelligence systems and VICORP;  responsible for the communication, timely collection, validation and application of site data and completion of site potential reports.  Expedite and ensure the resolution of all conditions required to close a Real Estate transaction before release of the site project to Construction (e.g., title, survey, environmental, closing documents, etc.).Verify that a new restaurant is opened and communicate the appropriate information to Corporate staff and Expesite users.

 

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

 

1.  Bachelors Degree preferred. 

2.  4 to 6 years work experience in real estate and construction in the capacity of Development / Project Coordinator and/or entry-level management in related field, preferred.

3.  Advanced computer skills required.

4.  Minimum of 2 years experience with demographic research, site analysis and investigation; solid financial reporting knowledge and expertise.

5.  Hands-on experience with Microsoft Project Management or Web based Project Management systems skills with an emphasis on scheduling and resource leveling, required (e.g. Expesite or Microsoft Project Management).

6.  Must be able to type 50-60 wpm on keyboard.
