Small real estate development start-up company seeks motivated individual for entry-level position. The successful candidate will find opportunities for rapid advancement and exposure to multiple aspects of the Philadelphia real estate environment. Job Description

The Office Manager takes care of the Wise Acre Real Estate office and showing properties. This involves routine administrative and secretarial tasks as well as supporting higher-level Wise Acre employees. Routine billing and accounting tasks and routine interactions with vendors, tenants, employees, agencies and funders. Routine interactions with payroll company, including web-based data entry. Routine aspects of loan and grant applications. Purchase of office and other supplies, including researching best prices. Flexible schedule for showing properties evenings and weekends in return for comp time. Bookkeeping. Strong administrative support to Project Manager. Coordination with Site Manager to ensure timely purchasing of necessary construction supplies. Strong administrative support to owners and higher-level employees. Various tasks as assigned. Various projects as appropriate, depending on applicant?s particular abilities. These might include writing grant applications, budgeting, negotiating, and computer maintenance. Necessary SkillsFacility with web-based data-entry. Good interpersonal skills. Experience with web-based research. Ability to keep organized, detailed and accurate records. Desirable Skills, etc.Strong writing skills. Strong computer skills. Real Estate License. Previous property management experience. Familiarity with construction or rehab. Familiarity with accounting or construction software (e.g., QuickBooks). Engineering, architectural or urban-planning degree. BA or BS degree. Education

Minimum: Associates degree or equivalent experience. Preferred: Bachelors Degree or higher.
