Operations Manager - Shopping Mall

Stable real estate/property management firm based in Los Angeles is looking for an experienced Operations Manager to assist in managing a large shopping mall located in the San Gabriel Valley.  This position requires a thorough understanding of construction practices and coordination including blue prints, general and preventative property maintenance, housekeeping and financial/budget/cost analysis.

Job responsibilities will include:Assist with preparation of budgets, cost expenses and necessary bids and proposalsDirect and administer all center contracted services and vendor suppliersTrack and prepare expenses from annual budget/business planPrepare quarterly and annual reports for senior management reviewSupervise and manage on site tenant construction process for new and renewed tenantsOversee housekeeping and maintenance staffsHandle tenant complaints, operations issues and overall safety of the Mall

Job Requirements:Minimum of 3-5 years of property/operations management experience in the retail/shopping center industry.Strong knowledge of commercial building practices, HVAC and interpretation of blue printsMust be flexible to respond to any property issuesAbility to effectively manage and monitor mall to ensure smooth operations of the centerMust be able to inspect property on a daily basis
