OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE EXPERIENCE (2+YEARS) IN MEDICAL OFFICE PROPERTY MANAGEMENT.  DASCO IS OFFERING A VERY GOOD SALARY AND BENEFITS.

 

POSTION SUMMARY:

Oversee the day-to-day operations of one or more of our medical office buildings, providing a clean, safe, well-maintained facility for our tenants and clients, while working within the annual budgets for each of those facilities. 

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

?  Management, coaching and mentoring of all direct reports

?  Conduct annual performance and quarterly feedback reviews of each direct report in accordance with company policy

?  Establish policies and procedures for each building

?  Facilitate the take-over of a building when put in service

?  Coordinate tenant move-ins and orientation

?  Maintain tenant files

?  Lease administration including billing accuracy, insurance certificates, financial information, renewal options and rent collection

?  Review, bid and negotiate third-party vendor contracts

?  Hire and supervise engineering and maintenance staff

?  Ensure prompt resolution of tenant complaints/problems

?  Review, approve and code payables

?  Prepare annual operating budgets

?  Prepare monthly Executive Summaries and Budget Variances

?  Maintain building directories

?  Purchase supplies and equipment for the building and office

?  Monitor all capital improvement projects in the building

?  Assist leasing personnel with obtaining information for market surveys

?  Show space to prospective tenants

?  Help leasing personnel source new tenants and meet with existing tenants re: renewals

?  Keep hospital clients apprised of pertinent developments in the buildings

?  Establish and maintain rapport with tenants

?  Assist with tenant evictions in compliance with court orders and directions from attorney and owner

 

COMPETENCIES:

?  Adept at using Outlook, Excel, Word and YARDI and basic word processing skills

?  Excellent verbal and written communication skills

?  Highly organized and able to multi-task

?  Working knowledge of building operating systems

?  Basic knowledge of accounting and financial reporting

?  Strong customer focus orientation

?  Good negotiating skills

?  Good managerial skills

?  Basic knowledge of construction blueprints

?  Basic math including square footage calculations and percentages

?  Ability to work independent of close supervision and to make independent decisions to provide guidance to staff, contractors and tenants in the absence of the manager

?  Ability to endure the rigors of frequent travel

 

EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE:

?  Minimum Associates Degree with some basic accounting/bookkeeping classes

?  A minimum of two years prior property management experience

?  Real estate license preferred

 

WORK SCHEDULE:

?  Monday ? Friday; hours are needed with a minimum of 40

?  Additional hours as needed

?  On-call after hours for emergencies
