Pre-funding QC Auditor

We are a long-term investor/lender, underwriting our own loan packages and servicing a portfolio of currently around $15 Billion.

We are currently seeking an experienced Pre-funding Auditor for our Operations center in Independence, OH.

The Primary Responsibilities of this position are as follows:


Pre-Funding Auditor is responsible for ensuring files that go to Funding do not their is no fraud. Duties of the position include:
- Review flagged documents prior to the loan going to Funding and determine if any misrepresentation of the information has occurred.
- Look for signs and determine if any of documents are fraudulent.
- Verify the information provided by the borrower, such as performing VOE's, VOM's, VOR's, etc.
- Review appraisal data to ensure that the Appraisal was not fraudulently prepared.
- Document findings and maintain monthly log of all audits performed and the outcome of each.
- Identify and inform supervisor of potential or newly identified risk trends or factors

Job Requirements:
Candidates must meet the following Qualifications:

Strong focus on customer service, high energy, good organizational and analytical skills a must. Must be proficient in MS Word and Excel. Ability to work quickly, independently, and accurately with attention to detail in a high volume environment. Ability to research and understand complex underwriting directives. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
