Processor and Opener

Downtown Mortgage Company is seeking a Loan Processor and Opener. The ideal candidates must be highly motivated, an effective communicator, able to handle multiple tasks, detail orientated, and a team player. An ability to perform well with little or no direction is a must. Mortgage or Financial background is preferred.

 

The ideal Processor Essential Job Functions: Experienced and dedicated Loan Processor Must have the tenacity to work in a fast past environment Calyx Point experience Ability to work with deadlines Must be detail oriented with guidelines and programs Excellent customer and communication service skills are a must. New construction processing experience preferred but not required Reliable team player with a positive attitude Knowledge of clearing conditions Professional and constant contact with underwriters, appraisers and any other contacts involved with getting the file to the closing table Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook a plus



Junior processors ?open? loan submissions. Opening loans include; title, appraisal, payoff statement, verifications, etc. Following up on the status of these documents and doing all that is required to retrieve them in a professional manner is essential. Communication with all persons involved with the loan process is essential as well.

 

The idea Opener Essential Job Functions: 

 Ordering Title, payoffs, appraisals and using customer service skills to expedite documents in a timely fashion. Following up on all ordered documents. Keeping a close eye on loan doc status. Maintaining final status of the loan once it has closed. (Entering Lender and closing dates into loan processing program.)
