Property Accountant

We are seeking an experienced Property Accountant who is self-driven, goal orientated, and who can work independently in our Corporate Office in Burlington, MA. The property accountant is responsible for all duties relative to producing monthly financial reports for managed properties. Monitors and manages cash balances on assigned properties.



This person is responsible for preparing year end audit packages, reconciling bank statements on a monthly basis, as well reconciling escrow accounts and mailing bills to financial institutions for payment when needed. Other duties include preparing journal entries for books, calculating and processing interest payments on notes payable, as well as assisting with special projects when needed.



The successful candidate will have a Bachelor?s degree in Accounting, plus one to two years of public or private accounting experience. Experience with the General Ledger and Cash Receipts is a plus. Must be proficient in MS Word and Excel. MRI and Rent Roll experience is desired. Strong oral and written skills and the ability to communicate effectively is a plus.
