Under general supervision, working from experience and judgment to plan and accomplish established goals, audits the documentation of both routine and complex loans files based on regulatory guidelines. Ensures complete documentation is included in file prior to releasing documents and funds, which meet both company and federal/state/local regulations and/or requirements for residential/commercial real estate loans.

Performs advanced random quality reviews and audits of completed loan files from Quality Specialists to ensure that the proper documentation required to complete the loan file is included and accurate.

Provides work leadership with file issues, resolving missing documentation and negotiating with field management.
Trains Quality Control Specialists on new, updated changed or modified policies and procedures.
Provides and ensures the distribution of current reference materials.
Maintains communication with field management, underwriters and title companies.
Facilitates training workshops with staff.

Qualifications:

Reviews and distributes work assignments to ensure quality, productivity goals and customer service standards are met.
May be responsible for reporting production statistics.
Researches status of non-funded loans, performs ?redraws?, audits, validates and updates denied/withdrawn loan files.
Performs research on specific state requirements prior to funding and special audits as assigned.
Compiles daily, weekly and monthly productivity logs.
Participate in the establishment of department goals and form implementation procedures and performance standards to achieve these goals.
May be responsible for communication to department manager and director regarding the employment, training, motivation and discipline of assigned employees in the absence of the section manager.
Excellent planning, prioritizing and self-management skills.
Ability to meet established and varying deadlines.
Ability to analyze, interpret and communicate policies, procedures and regulations effectively.

Education:
High School education and/or work experience is required.
