Real Estate Credit/Loan Administrator

Other core businesses include various lending subsidiaries that cover residential mortgages, mixed use, multi-family and commercial real estate. We are seeking a Credit Administrator to work in our midtown Manhattan corporate headquarters.

The responsibilities will include establishing and maintaining all facility data by reviewing all loan and credit documentation with an expertise in Real Estate deals and lending including construction lending. Communicating with all parties (e.g. borrowers, attorneys, lending officers). Establishing ticklers for all appropriate items in the Credit Agreement. Ensuring covenants, ticklers and collateral are monitored. Contributing to accurate maintenance of credit files. Responsible for safekeeping and imaging of all legal documents. Driving business adherence to policies and procedures during the closing process. Insuring all documents for closing are present, and periodically checked. Checking conditions precedent to borrowing and obtaining approvals necessary to release payments. Providing support in preparation of internal credit approvals. Understanding all financial terms of the agreement and know how to calculate, e.g. fees, interest, principal amortizations. Communicating with client (and Bank Group) relative to funding needs. Interfacing with customer on inquiries, e.g. billing.

A minimum of 3 years of commercial credit administration experience is required. Candidate must have hands-on experience with loan operations processes with respect to revolvers, term loans, commercial real estate structures(including construction lending) and syndications. The ability to understand complex credits is required. Must have experience using ACBS or other related loan servicing software. ACBS is strongly preferred. Software computer literacy and the ability to help build local applications to track and monitor complex credits is required. Bachelor?s degree is required.
