Real Estate Paralegal

We are a leading West Coast real estate operating company experiencing tremendous growth.? We are looking to expand our team and are seeking a Real Estate Paralegal.?

?

The Real Estate Paralegal will provide support for all aspects of Triple Net Properties?real estate transactions including acquisitions, dispositions, and financing. Will coordinate with internal departments and outside counsel to negotiate and close a wide variety of real estate transactions. Will be involved with leasing, property due diligence, property management and general dispute resolution.

Duties Include, but are not limited to:

?

Acquisitions/Dispositions:Assist in-house Real Estate Counsel in negotiating purchase? and sale contracts and structuring and closing transactions.Oversee coordination between acquisition underwriting and deal?documents.Assist with property due diligence.Track deal progress and deliveries.Review major property documents.

Financing:Review loan documents and coordinate internal comments.Communicate with lenders and counsel regarding loan documents and deliveries.Track financing transactions and lender form documents.Assist with preparation of internal form documents.Oversee coordination between acquisition underwriting and loan documents.Communicate with lenders regarding investor transfer.

Miscellaneous:Assist asset and property managers with miscellaneous property level legal issues (service contracts, tenant disputes, lease amendments, property management contracts, etc.)Provide general legal support for miscellaneous internal company needs.Assist in drafting company form documentsAssist in supervising lease administration department.

Requirements: Minimum of 4 years experience?as a real estate paralegal at a major law firmMust have a Bachelor degree and paralegal certification (or equivalent)Experience in closing significant purchase and sale financing transactions, performing property due diligence and lease reviews, communicating with outside counsel and lenders, and drafting legal documents.Minor litigation experience is a plus.Must be comfortable working in a high intensity, but congenial atmosphereTeam playerDeadline and detailed orientedAble to multi-task and set priorities
