We have an immediate opening for a Real Estate Servicing Specialist to setup files, maintain records of principal/interest/escrow payments and maintain investor reporting.  You'll work with a large back-office team focused on providing outstanding management of real estate loan records.

Your duties will include:


50% on Mortgage Loan Servicing including funding new loans, processing payoff statements, filing of Heloc collateral envelopes, reconveyances, insurance tracking, processing hazard insurance updates and handling calls from other depts.

 

40% on daily balancing of specific General Ledgers, deposit clearing reconciliation, month end balancing of portfolio, payment posting, payment reversals/adjustments, auditing of loans, and reconciliation of department's checking accounts.

 

10% on projects.

 

Requirements include courses in Real Estate Lending with 2+ years experience.  You must be familiar with FNMA/FHLMC lending guidelines and Automated Underwriting Systems. Demonstrated PC proficiency is a must. High School diploma and courses in related business areas necessary to maintain position proficiency.
