The selected candidate will manage a Business Development Sales Team consisting of Business Development Managers (BDM's) to achieve budgeted volumes through a mortgage broker network.

1. Achieves individual BDM and cumulative sales team monthly volume goals.

2. Develops and manage broker network to meet volume and quality objectives.

3. Recruits, hires and trains sales staff to meet goals through the understanding of products, underwriting, systems technology and sales techniques.

4. Manages sales team to ensure maximum efficiency, high service standards and production goals are achieved.

5. Ensures company policies and procedures are adhered to by all team members to minimize risk to the corporation.


6. Monitors competitive presence, pricing, products and market strategies.

7. Conducts performance evaluation for BDM's in accordance with company policy

8. Manage region and all direct reports to meet assigned expense budgets.

9. Provide sufficient level of training on all sales support software.

10. Communicates on a daily basis with the BDMs, emphasizing Company expectations.

11. Provides feedback in the form of any needed reports to management.

12. Attend trade shows, industry events and sales meetings as necessary.

Education:
B.A. /B.S. Undergraduate college degree preferred

Experience/Training:
2-5 years Sales management experience in comparable industry environment (i.e. Mortgage Banking, Consumer Finance, Banking, etc.) OR
5- 7 years experience in a comparable business environment (i.e. Mortgage Banking, Consumer Finance, Banking, etc.)
(Additional related experience may offset the undergraduate requirement)
