Relocation Counselor

Job Description: Position Summary Single point of accountability for the day to day interactions with relocation transferees. Examples would include coordinating with the ancillary services (expense, closing, household goods, mortgage) to ensure client/transferee satisfaction by having a smooth relocation.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES

1. 70(%) Manage the entire relocation for each transferee being their single point of accountability and their advocate. This position is 100% responsible for every aspect of the transaction for the corporate transferree. This includes tasks surrounding homesale, homefinding, household goods, equity advances, mortgage services and other required services. This is measured by quality service surveys which is targeted to average 3.2 out of a 4.0 scale.

2. 10(%) Educate Client HR contacts on minor relocation issues as related to transferring family, communicate with them regarding exception management specific to transferee, including recommendations on specific exceptions to policy; provide them transferee status updates, keeping them abreast of issues and solutions that arise such that they aren't blindsided; and projects and reports as requested.

3. 10(%) Coordinate with all internal departments/functions to ensure successful transferee experience.

4. 10(%) Consistently provide direction and feedback to Relocation Assistants in the areas of work direction, development, training and performance evaluation - this feedback is also provided to the Mgr, Relocation Services for the official TMS process. Participate in client/prospect visits and presentations.
