Rent Administrator - Accounts Receivable

We currently have a great opportunity for a highly motivated, detail-oriented Rent Administrator to be based on-site at our client location in Richardson, Texas. This position will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of the subleased property database and the accurate and timely collection of the monthly rent roll and ad hoc invoices. The Rent Administrator reports to the Manager of Rent Administration and provides overall coordination and support in the areas of process improvement, rent collections, database and reporting management.



 

Additional responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following:

 Abstracting, scanning, reviewing, interpreting, inputting and maintaining all detailed sublease information and ensuring the integrity and completeness of the database content.Preparation, reconciliation and collection of the monthly rents receivable. Collect and deposit daily cash receipts.Ensure revenue and billings are recorded accurately and are processed in an efficient and effective manner.Send delinquent rent notices on unpaid balance and default letters when required under the client?s signature.Administering the terms of the Sublease Agreement to ensure that the Subtenant abides by all the conditions of the legal contract; this is accomplished by reviewing and interpreting legal clauses and conducting lease audit activity.Preparation and pass through of annual budget increases and year end reconciliations to the Subtenant.Generating regular and ad hoc reporting as required.Handle inquiries made by internal and external stakeholders including Finance, Accounts Payable, Facility Managers, Project Managers, Clients, Subtenants and others, with a high level of integrity.Identify opportunities to add value to the Rent Administration functionInitiate follow up on sublease expiries with the client?s real estate asset management team to ensure the continuance of rent collections if applicable.Process all remittances related to subleases, including tenant improvement allowances, security deposit refunds, and letter of credit renewals, etc. Other duties as assigned by the Manager Rent Administration.

 

 Skills/Qualifications:

 5 years minimum experience in the area of corporate Rent Administration/CollectionsHigh level of integrityExceptional interpersonal skills with a focus on teamwork and customer serviceAbility to work on multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize, follow-up and bring projects to conclusionThorough knowledge of commercial lease structure, operating expenses, lease options and lease language.  Exceptional organizational and time management skillsStrong computer skills with an emphasis on MS Office applications, experience with Oracle applications is considered a plus.Thorough knowledge of accounting and financial practices, especially in the areas of revenue billing and accounts receivable.Excellent accounting skillsStrong attention to detail
