Residential Escrow Closing Officer

Near North National Title LLC provides a full range of commercial title and escrow services to firms involved in complex single and multi-site commercial, industrial and residential real estate transactions.The company has a strong focus on new development projects and is currently seeking an experienced residential escrow closer.  This position offers excellent opportunities for learning and career advancement to the right candidate.

 

Responsibilities:
- Close up to 4 residential purchase and refinance transactions daily, pursuant to closing instructions from lender and from seller's attorney.

- Review lender instructions.  Check all documents for accuracy.  Deliver documents at closing to buyer for signature.  Gather all documents back and determine that are all executed properly.

- Collect all title clearance from sellers and/or buyers.  Mark-up title commitment for attorneys involved.

- Compute and prepare RESPAs and disbursement statements.  Deposit funds and process checks/wires for disbursement.

- Organize and deliver all necessary documents for recording.  Process file into post-closing department for later date upon receipt of recorded documents from county.

- Prepare and record release of mortgage doucments.  Order release of mortgages from lenders.

- Fax documents upon request from clients, lenders and attorneys.

- Release monies held back in escrow from closings, upon request from parties involved.
