SETTLEMENT PROCESSOR
A small TITLE COMPANY and LAW FIRM is seeking a highly motivated person
to process real estate settlements. This person will have direct
contact with clients concerning all aspects of the real estate
settlement. This includes but is not limited to opening the settlement
files, ordering title work, examining title work, preparing title
binders, scheduling settlements with clients and lenders, obtaining loan
documents, preparing the HUD-1 Settlement Statement, disbursing the
funds, issuing title policies and closing the files.
QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Education and/or College Degree
Experience with a title company, mortgage company and/or real estate
agency.
Good communication and organizational skills with the ability to work
under pressure at certain periods of the month.
Computer skills
Experience with LANDTECH a plus!
TITLE LICENSE a plus!
SALARY:
Salary commensurate with experience.
STATUS:
Full time - 8:30 am - 5:00 pm
LOCATION:
North Springfield, Virginia
BENEFITS:
Vacation Pay (2 weeks first year), Sick Pay (5 days first year), Holiday
Pay, Retirement Contribution after two years
