SURVEILLANCE ANALYST - REAL ESTATE GROUP

ORIX Capital Markets (OCM), one of the largest investors in Commercial Mortgage Backed Securities (CMBS) and one of the largest commercial real estate loan special servicers in the country is seeking a Surveillance Analyst within its Real Estate Group.

This position is responsible for surveillance of commercial real estate loans securing OCM and third party investments, and surveillance of commercial mortgage-backed securities in OCM investment portfolio.

Responsibilities include review of Trustee and Servicer reports, analyses of operating statements and rent rolls of commercial real estate properties, the ability to translate risk factors into loss projections, prepare collateral reports, research market trends, assist with due diligence underwriting process for new CMBS bonds, perform rating agency review, prepare price-yield analysis, and assist in CMBS bond mark-to-market and reporting.

Candidates will possess a bachelor degree in finance or significant experience in a financial setting to facilitate the process of identifying and reporting risk factors relating to commercial real estate and commercial mortgage-backed securities.? Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required as well as excellent, Excel and Access skills.? Experience with Bloomberg, Intex, Trepp a plus
