American Home Mortgage is seeking a Sr. Loan Processor for our Wailuku, Maui Branch. The primary function of this position is to ensure the timely and accurate packaging of all FHA/VA/CONV loans originated by designated loan officers. Gather information, process the package to make sure it meets the specific guidelines, verifying loan documents including income, credit appraisal and title insurance. Ultimately the responsibility of the Senior Processor to manage their pipeline to ensure all loans are processed in a timely manner.

 

Specific Duties:

q Review new loan files to confirm they contain the required information.

q Document and communicate the ?Hit List? and ?Flow Sheet? to the loan officer.

q Review file documentation, and make sure all needed items were requested (i.e. trust docs, divorce decree, bankruptcy papers, lease land contacts, case numbers, ect.)

q Structure the loan in preparation for underwriting.

q Analyze documentation to make sure it meets program guidelines, and signs off on received conditions once underwritten.

 

Qualifications:

q 3+ Yrs processing experience with Conv/Gov loans.

q Knowledge of LP and DU.

q Must be able to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment, prioritizing, and follow-up & follow through.

q Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
