All documents are viewable on the Web. Docs submitted to satisfy stips are turned into Adobe Acrobat PDFs (document 'pictures') viewable on the Web. Our processors can focus on the interesting part of processing because the clerical functions like answering endless calls are automated by our Web-based system.

Processors also close more loans because of automation not visible to our clients (and therefore not discussed on our Web site). For example, you need never touch a piece of paper or leave your desk to send a fax.

As a Senior Mortgage Loan Processor at Baton you will spend more time in higher-value work like ensuring that the application as originated by our customer (broker) will be approved, and ensuring that the conversation log conveys up-to-date and accurate information, rather than answering calls on the status of files.

We serve a variety of customers and submit to a wide array of lenders. The variety of programs, lenders and customers (brokers) requires a willingness to continue to learn new loan programs.

Qualifications
? Knowledge of conforming, non-conforming, and subprime loans required. FHA, VA, CalPERS knowledge desirable.

? Applicants must have knowledge of DO/DU/LP, online credit companies, Calyx Point and familiarity using PCs and the Internet.

? Ability to converse in Spanish a plus.
