Senior Portfolio Account Manager Houston

We are an aggressive, growing commercial real estate consulting firm in need of an experienced Senior Portfolio Manager located in Houston, TX. The chosen candidate will be responsible for coordinating the property transaction process which includes lease administration, transactions, and strategic planning. In this position, he/she will utilize tools to create various reports, track projects, and assist with business transactions. Candidate must have the following:

* Four year degree in real estate, business administration or other related major
* 5-6 years of experience in major account work, including the below responsibilities for a recognized real estate company
* Verifiable achieved results such as outstanding sales and/or major negotiations resulting in increased revenues to the company
* Strong asset management experience
* Must be well versed in Real Estate legal terminology
* Must have Texas Real Estate LicenseREQUIREMENTSResponsibilities include, but not limited to:

- Review and management of CAM, Tax, Insurance, Capital Expenditures, Audits, rent and notice documents.
- Maintaining the ongoing communication with client contacts through verbal and written updates and reports.
- Responsible for lease abstracts.
- Oversee acquisition, dispositions, extensions, terminations and Real Estate activity.
- Develop and maintain transaction tracking tools and the weekly update reports. Manage projects using these transaction tracking tools.
- Location and update of files and database.
- Work closely with legal to negotiate leases and close transactions.
- Responsible for monthly reviews, quarterly audits, and security deposit recapture.
- Analyze and document business processes and problems.
- Provide client with monthly portfolio performance reports.
- Notify client of upcoming critical dates and make recommendations on those sites in accordance with the strategic plan.
- Review owned property portfolio and prepare options and strategic plans associated with client needs and assessments.
- Position extensions and renewals to begin negotiations during peak business periods so as to schedule client occupancy dates during slow seasonal periods.
