Senior Real Estate Manager

 

Senior Real Estate Manager provides transaction services (needs analysis, location selection, lease negotiation) primarily for both retail (banking) use, but also for office use throughout North America.  Comply with internal approval process guidelines.  Interact with internal clients, senior asset managers, project managers and external consultants (brokers, attorneys) to coordinate efforts and deliver desired results.  Serve as a liaison between the Real Estate group and internal business clients to help ensure objectives are met.  Interact with lease administration function to ensure real estate files are complete and in compliance with corporate standards.



Comprehensive knowledge of the principles and techniques in real estate, including real estate valuation, capital markets, financing and deal structuring, related documents (contracts, deeds) construction and real estate management and real estate law, as well as the ability to apply them to complex business situations.  Understands financial impact of real estate deals on operating and capital budgets.  Knowledgeable of real estate law, regulations and building codes.  Strong relationship management skills and communication skills.  Strong negotiating skills in acquisition, disposition, leasing and litigation.  At least 10 years real estate work experience, including management experience.  BA/BS or equivalent experience.  Licensed real estate broker (RPA, CCIM, CPM) preferred.
