Position Description:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Compile and maintain the data integrity of the production figures.
-Assist in cross training of new and seasoned Associates
-Notify Supervisor or Manager of operations issues, and provide suggestions for enhancement.
-Handle more complex research customer issues, identify solutions, and respond verbally and/or in writing within departmental standards and regulatory timeframe requirements.
-Generate, and review various reports from the Servicing System or ensure data integrity and compliance.
-Monitor and ensure service release sales are released appropriately.
-Code loans with appropriate stop codes and create headers on Servicing System.
-Send good-bye letters to borrowers.
-Perform job function to release loans on transfer date and forward payments.
-Request and forward files/collateral on non-performing sales.
-Notify flood insurance and tax service vendor of loan sale.
-Reconcile general ledger accounts.
-Re-establish repurchased loans on the servicing system.
-Abide by RESPA to ensure compliance and adhere to payment time frames and coordinate interim servicing arrangements.
-Consistently document the Servicing System on the status of the loans.
-Resolve more complex after-transfer issues for borrowers, working cooperatively with the new service.
-Perform accurate mathematical computations.
-Compose effective correspondence.
-Make judgments, decisions, and suggestions for procedural improvements.
-Perform other duties as assigned.

ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & LICENSES:
-Knowledge of various loan servicing functions
-Familiarity with various loan documents and loan file
-Knowledge of Investor requirements
-Knowledge of pertinent federal and state regulations
-Excellent organization skills
-Customer service-oriented
-Computer literacy, typing speed of 30 wpm and 10-key
-Effective verbal and written communication skills
-Detail- and accuracy-oriented
